I've been preaching for 10 plus years now. I can't say I had the best run but I helped loads of people in their spiritual faith and journey throughout my work. The song explores the motives behind my faith and messages on the pulpit - unconsciously built by social environment and childhood. It dawned on me that our beliefs are shaped by our perception of life, hence the few that make it to a church pulpit or any form of religious leadership get to share their own. This song opens the story to explore the depths of Louis' upbringing to that point.
